Because of this, the residents do not have the "pride of ownership" that comes with the hard work necessary. They do not appreciate the value of the property and see no need to maintain or respect it in any way.
The result is the same whether you are talking about a studio apartment or a magnificent mansion full of priceless antiques. If the people who live there do not feel they earned the privilege, they will make this known through their actions.

I thought to myself how I could write this? But decided that it's actually a rhetorical question. I had no problem writing it because someone emailed me a picture that struck a chord. I don't know if any other president has acted as our current president has, but frankly, I don't care. They are either dead, or out of sight and mind. Well, other than by the "Blame Bush" crowd of morons and lunatics.
I'm Karl, and I approve of this post, in a round about sort of right-handed way. Okay, I approve Extremely of the disdain I hope to encourage in others towards this administration as a whole.
